MD Ariful Islam

Md Ariful Islam is a Marine Chief Engineer and Director with over 20 years of hands-on engineering experience in highly reputed chemical and petroleum tanker operations. He graduated from Marine Academy Chattogram with a Bachelor of Maritime Science and Engineering and further completed Advanced Engineering Training at MTC, Osaka, Japan.

Throughout his career, he has worked directly with complex automation systems, instrumentation, process controls, cargo handling equipment, and extensive piping and transfer systems on a daily operational basis. This unique exposure has enabled him to develop exceptional practical knowledge, troubleshooting capabilities, and technical expertise that extend far beyond conventional engineering experience. Through leadership roles as Head of Technical Department, Safety Officer, and Technical Manager at Orion Oil & Shipping (Orion Group), he has built a strong reputation for solving complex engineering challenges and driving operational excellence.

At Axevra Automation, he leads the development of innovative automation and instrumentation solutions, helping clients optimize plant performance, improve operational efficiency, and achieve reliable process control through tailored engineering solutions.
